DOUG REIFSTECK

OWNER

His 30 years in the home improvement industry were prefaced by 11 years in the microelectronics industry. He is an entrepreneur with interests in commercial real estate and residential development. He is active in several philanthropic projects, both locally and downstate. Doug enjoys all outdoor sports along with his two daughters and traveling with his best friend and wife Carolyn.

EDUCATION: BS in Chemistry and Biology from Elmhurst College

SUSAN HOLDER

OFFICE BOOKKEEPER

Susan spent 8 years as a junior high Math teacher, 1 year teaching at the high school level and 6 years teaching preschool before she switched things up. Susan has been a book keeper for over 35 years and she owns a window and carpet cleaning business with her husband. Before coming to Floor to Ceiling, she spent 10 years working at the Kishwaukee YMCA as the Administrative Assistant to the CEO. She also maintained her position in the membership department. She still teaches a water aerobics class 3 days a week. In her spare time she likes to bowl, play darts, travel and spend time with her 9 (soon to be 10) grandkids. A mother of three, Susan has been married for over 35 years.

James "Mel" Melton

WAREHOUSE MANAGER

Mel is our behind the scenes warehouse operational manager. He has committed to Floor to Ceiling for over 30 years. Mel enjoys a different change of pace each day. He covers a wide range of responsibilities from distribution services to overlooking inventory to receiving materials and maintaining the showroom and warehouse. In his spare time, Mel enjoys time with friends and spending time with his dog.

Katie Fierros

Interior Design Consultant

Katie has over ten years in the Interior Design Industry and has worked for Floor to Ceiling for over three years. Prior to joining Floor to Ceiling, she spent six years as an Independent Interior Design Consultant. She managed both residential and commercial remodel projects for both Chicago and New York based design firms. She enjoys working with a variety of clients and projects. When Katie is not working, you can find her spending time with her husband, Jose and their three children.

MINDY DRENNAN

 

Mindy moved to Sycamore in May of 2016 after spending most of her life in Florida. She brings a vast amount of knowledge in the industry as she owned a kitchen and bath business for many years. She worked with customers in every aspect of the business from initial design to job completion and she loves meeting new people and helping them bring their visions to life. Mindy has been married to her high school sweetheart for more than 32 years and has 2 children. In her spare time she is involved with her church, loves to cook, read and spend time with her family.

Denise Waters

Commercial Sales Specialist

Denise has been with Floor to Ceiling for 12 years. Gathering information, creating solutions, presenting and implementing action plans are all skills that she brings to this job. She touches almost every aspect of this business, starting from book keeping to now managing multiple crews in both commercial and residential flooring projects. When Denise is not working, she enjoys camping and boating with her husband and 3 boys, or just spending time with her granddaughters.

 

Daniel Jordan

Interior Design Consultant

Daniel has been a design sales consultant for over five years. He moved to DeKalb in December of 2017 after spending most of his life in the west suburbs of Chicago. Having served a variety of remodeling markets, Daniel harbors a vast knowledge of many fashions- in which he uses to take a uniquely transitional approach to his designs. He prides himself in providing a satisfactory, yet genuine customer service experience for all projects, from a simple backsplash to master bathroom remodels. Years prior to the home improvement industry, Daniel had worked in hospitality, clerical and inventory supply fields. In his spare time he enjoys watching history documentaries, mixing music via audio engineering, and streaming videogames with his son.

 

Kimberly Lewis

Interior Design Consultant

Kimberly Lewis is a 1992 NIU graduate who offers 20 years tenured interior design consulting in residential remodeling & new construction. Kimberly is passionate about quality products, their technical specifications and best practice installations. She stays current with the latest industry advances and leverages continued learning to deliver optimal results to her client projects. In her free time, Kimberly indulges her love for design at home and enjoys walking, gardening and spending quality time with her teenage daughter.
